The inventions are analytically described through projects of a vaguely neo-Renaissance taste, on big sheets of paper hung on the walls, laid out on school desks and put beside small-scale models.
The exhibition wants to provoke the public’s curiosity to enable a reflection on the state of things, starting from the art system, which does not create the new but, just like the other productive mechanisms of the world of images, presents itself through a strategy of amazement.
Amazement that, during the exhibition, culminates in the nineteenth invention set up on the monumental site of Santo Spirito in Sassia in Rome (from 11 to 18 January 2008), whose sacredness is used to raise up the artist’s last creation, DIOMIRA.
