La Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco e il Collegio degli Ingegneri della Toscana organizza la Conferenza Internazionale "Il recupero della Torre Campanaria di Pisa”: le ultime metodologie per la conservazione dei monumenti antichi è tenuta dal Prof. Michele Jamiolkowski, Presidente della Commissione Internazionale per la Salvaguardia della Torre Campanaria di Pisa, e da altri esperti del medesimo comitato, nominati dal Governo Italiano nel 1997 per la realizzazione del pieno recupero di uno dei più importanti monumenti italiani conosciuti al mondo.

La conferenza mostra le tecniche, le metodologie organizzative e le esperienze maturate da questo straordinario gruppo di esperti, ed è indirizzata principalmente a giovani ricercatori universitari, oltre che ai loro professori, per fornire loro informazioni e conoscenze all'avanguardia nel campo del recupero architettonico dei monumenti.

International Conference

"The restoration of the Pisa leaning tower: the state-of-the-art methodology for the conservation of the ancient monuments" - Florence/Pisa, 10-12 February 2005

 - FOR YOUNG UNIVERSITY RESEARCHERS, PROFESSORS AND SCHOLARS -

The conference is held by Prof. Michele Jamiolkowski, President of the International Committe for the Safeguard of the Pisa leaning tower, and other scientists of the same Committee, appointed by the Italian Government for the full recovering of one of the most known Italian monument in the world. The conference will show the technics, the studies and experiences made by this pool of outstanding experts and it is addressed mainly to young university scholars and researchers, and professors as well.

II International Best Diploma Projects Show-Competition entitled
"For an Ecological Future: Architecture, Environment and Design"
opening date:
Florence 17th February

 FOR GRADUATED STUDENTS -

It is the second edition of an international exhibition addressed to Universities, Faculties and Schools in the field of Architecture, Environment and Design, for the presentation of graduated students' diploma projects (solar years 2003 and 2004). The exhibition will be held in Florence, on February the 17th  (opening date) till March the 17th 2005, the awarding of the best diploma projects is on 19th February 2005

III International Masterclass on Baroque Music

With the participation of Maestro Paul Esswood

(13th - 20th February 2005)

- TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERNS -

 

The programme of the course is aimed at perfecting the technique of interpretation of Baroque Music (voice and harpsichord) - Bach, Handel, Monteverdi, Purcell, Schütz, etc.

The Course is open to students at Italian or foreign Universities and Academies of music, and to young people who have graduated from 1999.

This documentation must be received by mail (on the address of Fleming Youth - Via del Giglio n. 10 - 50123 Firenze - Italia) or by fax (0039 055 283260) within 1st February 2005.

International Workshops for University Students

(31st October 2004 - 20th February 2005)

- FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS -

Each students workshop is focused on a specific topic (arts, architecture, history, humanism, economics, music and other); for each seminar, the Foundation invites groups of students and professors from different universities, accommodation free overnight in Vivahotels Florence, and organises a educational and cultural program (free visits to the 5 most important Florentine museums, like Uffizi, Accademia and others). Students are mixed in international teams and assigned to a particular educational case-study. At the end of the workshop the Foundation awards the best work.

“Conservation of Historic Wooden Structure”
