I played runescape back in the day (still play old school from time to time). In 06/07, after the world cup I started getting into soccer. No one in my family are fans but it was something I was very captivated by. I met a lady who had moved to the states from ipswich and we played runescape a lot together. She told me awesome stories and even emailed me pictures from the big matches she had been to. I didn't have a team per say and I loved a lot of things about the club. The whole story is a bit more detailed than that, but essentially that is it :D I was in the UK back in 2012 on vacation and they had a home game the same day as my flight was leaving.. it was pretty sad how close I was to something I've looked forward to my whole life. I wear ipswich shirts and have pennants and flags in my room and soccer fans around here have no clue what to make of it. Kind of ducks cause everyone here only supports the super clubs.
