Katalina Olivia Spicer and Luke Tyrus Parramore were united in marriage on March 4, 2017, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lake City, Florida, followed by a reception at the Columbia County Fairgrounds Banquet Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Kathleen Spicer, longtime residents of Live Oak, now living in High Springs. She graduated from Suwannee High School in 2011, and from the Cosmetology school at Suwannee Hamilton Technical Center (now RiverOak Technical College) in 2012. She’s been working as a hair stylist and living with her family up until the wedding.

The groom is the son of Bill & Earlene Carroll, also of Live Oak. He is a graduate of Gainesville High School in 2008, a former resident of Live Oak and longtime friend of the family. He has spent the last 3 years living in New York doing voluntary construction work at the worldwide headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Brooklyn & Warwick, NY.

They were engaged on September 3, 2016, after Luke surprised her with a visit from NY. He proposed while serenading her with a song he wrote for her while playing the guitar, and presenting her with his late mother’s rose gold engagement ring which he had resized and reset. It was quite a touching and memorable moment.

The Matron of Honor was Savannah Spicer Sheehan, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Natascha Spicer, cousin of the bride; and Hannah Ahern and Kerstin Rourke, friends of the bride. The girls wore beautiful, long, lace dresses in deep emerald green, with pearl necklaces, and carrying antique pink and fuchsia roses . The bride was beautiful wearing her mother’s vintage wedding gown (34 years old!), which fit her perfectly, and tweaked only slightly, with a vintage rose bouquet in antique pinks & ivory.

The Best Man was Hank Parramore, brother of the groom; and groomsmen Heath & Benjamin Spicer, brothers of the bride; and Timothy Leite Da Silva, friend of the groom from NY.

The couple honeymooned in “Catalina Island” in California, then did a 3 week road trip back home. They are now residing in High Springs, FL.Read more at:http://www.marieprom.co.uk | http://www.marieprom.co.uk/prom-dresses-2016-2017
