The Belgioioso Castle in Belgioioso (Province of Pavia, Italy) will soon open its doors for the new Spring edition of the NEXT VINTAGE Show, internationally considered the most important and renowned in-door Vintage fair of Europe. Any kind of little found and even big treasures will be on show and sell among period clothing and accessories dating back to the 20th and 19th Centuries, Vintage fashion items, costume jewellery, modernism objects and a wide range of women’s –men’s and children’s wear for both casual and elegant occasions. Among the Vintage dealers there will be some “new entries” like a great Jewelry dealer from the USA (Jewels of Fantasy) as well as some relatively newbie’s (especially on Vintage sunglasses and clothing) recently established in the Venetian Region.
Three very important collateral events will be welcome:
a Vintage textiles and fabrics exhibition that will illustrate some among the greatest central and middle European designers of the 60s and 70s as well as a special paintings exhibition by the eclectic North American artists Joseph Watchman Kaliher, born in Texas in a Hippy community in the neighbours of Dallas and grown between Italy and Great Britain. Among fairytale characters with a large gamut of vivid colours, several symbolic meanings and real people pervaded by weaknesses, addictions and poorness are represented as a metaphoric interpretation of the human bean and his nature. Kalhier uses to paint by means of an extremely vibrant coloured palette, with sensitiveness and optimism some dreamlike sceneries, often veiled by a peculiar philosophy which never judges nor criticizes but rather impersonates a sincere solidarity mood.
Finally, by popular demand the week-end will be gladdened by the returnal of the 40’s and Rockabilly 50’s retro hairstyles performed on demand to the show visitors by the scenographer, Vintage stylist, retro fashion -and image advisor Ketty Cinieri, brilliant lady and highly talented artist (we all love her cool spontaneous personality!!) A little hint for those interested girls and ladies: to be sure to get a place for a special mini hair styling slot on the spot with Ketty, look for her at the entrance hall immediately upon your arrival and set an appointment with her or call her in advance at her handy phone +39-328-9236008.

GREAT SUCCESS for the brand new event show and sale “Vintage Workshop® Bologna for Luxury Fashion” that took place on April 6-7 at the UNAWAY Hotel in Bologna on the occasion of Linea Pelle expo fair.
IN BOLOGNA, last 6-7 APRIL, the premiere of a new technical exhibition and showroom opened to fashion operators and designers involved in the luxury fashion sector, in the high hand Ready to Wear and in High Fashion took place, particularly dedicated to the research by the designers of fashion accessories, purses, shoes and fancy leather items. Beside the Italian designers and product managers, many fashion professionals coming from several foreign companies have been welcomed, especially French, US Americans, British, Portuguese and Brazilian ones.
The scored outcomes have been even above the organizers’ most optimistic expectations, considering the show has been an absolute premiere. The format to fix closed-doors meetings and visits in the morning and public opening in the afternoon until evening has been greeted as well as the opportunity offered to professional visitors to not only buy the novelty accessories acquired by the team of the Italian Association of the Vintage Fashion Hunters but also to have the privilege to view in advance a new archive selection of unique purses and shoes available for rent and which cannot easily be found elsewhere.
The storage service offered to customers to drop-off and deposit their own choices and other private job belongings with following pick-up after the fair closing times has been of advantage too.
The October encore edition for the F/W season collections, always during LineaPelle has been already confirmed. We warmly thank all participants !!
