- The Sky Rainforest Rescue Pod is Back

After a successful tour last year the Sky Rainforest Rescue Pod, the 'virtual rainforest' experience created to help raise awareness of Sky and WWF's campaign to help save a billion trees in the Amazon rainforest, ( is back this summer.

The first leg of its three date UK tour sees the pod in situ at the Hay on Wye Festival next weekend. You'll also have a chance to experience the revamped pod - complete with a six new video screens, a 3D film and an interactive 'rainforest floor' - at Moors Valley Country Park and Westonbirt Arboretum later in the summer.

Anyone unfamiliar with the work that Sky and WWF are carrying out in Acre, Brazil through Sky Rainforest Rescue can learn more about the campaign whilst exploring the wonders of the rainforest in a unique interactive environment.

The pod plunges visitors into a rainforest experience where they can discover the natural wonders of this incomparably diverse habitat, learn about the people of the Amazon and the threat that deforestation poses.
