The Price is Right for Maureen L at Jackpotjoy

LONDON, August 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --

Maureen L, Jackpotjoy's latest winner, landed a brand new Mini Cooper playing Bingo - but decided to take the cash and has now walked away with a jaw dropping £14,995...

Jackpotjoy prides itself on being the most innovative gaming site around, giving away money in a range of exciting ways, and their Price is Right Bingo Game - based on the classic game show - is no exception.

The game plays out like a standard 75 ball bingo game, but at the end of selected games players get the chance to take part in a bonus round which awards "prizes and surprises" - and could give someone a brand new Mini Cooper!

"Jackpotjoy is all about the games," explains Michael Saunders, Managing Director of Jackpotjoy. "And games, as everyone knows are all about winning! So when we're looking to build a new gaming model, we're constantly asking how we can ensure that we see more winners than before. The Price is Right fits the model because on the one hand it offers the excitement of 75 ball bingo - with a progressive jackpot - while generating more winners with the bonus round."

There are five bonus rounds available and each offers players the chance to win bingo cards or cash prizes in a range of fun ways. It was while playing the Spin the Wheel bonus game, which is based on a game from the Price is Right show itself. In the game, players spin 5 wheels and need to match the price of the car to win it.

Maureen L, who comes from Suffolk, won the Mini Cooper while playing on Sunday evening and decided to take the cash alternative.

"We're all over the moon for Maureen," Michael Saunders smiles. "Though she's just one of the thousands of winners we see coming through the doors at Jackpotjoy."

Jackpotjoy currently creates 10 new winners every second, and awards more than £4,000,000 every day.

The Gamesys Group was founded by Noel Hayden in April 2001. The aim was to build a profitable online entertainment business providing Online Bingo, Roulette and Online Slots to a worldwide audience using proprietary gaming software.
