This autumn and winter, 2011, Laura Ashley launch their new range of products for the home. The label, who has shaped a long history of home furnishing, releases its range of seasonal products that are quintessentially Laura Ashley and quintissentially suited to the autumn and winter season.
The fashion and furniture brand, whose blend of vintage and traditional home decor has its beginnings in 60s printed fabric, evokes both the nostalgic and modern in the new autumn and winter collection. The designs reflect both the light and warm oak hues of the shifting season.
The ranges are all thematically shaped, from the rich, dense hues of Pimlico, to the light airy and leafy tones of A New Leaf and the cool delicacy of the La Milles Fleur range.
The product range showcases a wide range of influences. Far from Heaven takes its influence from open-plan, well-groomed 60s Manhattan style with large, statement patterns. At the other end of their range is Pimlico, which introduces a collection of wallpaper made of vintage black and white photographs, complemented by the romantic comforts of their corresponding furniture.
All the collections in this product launch and other launches from made to order sofas to wallpaper, continue showcasing the Laura Ashley tradition of heritage print; from the bold and floral, to the intricate and delicate patterns; from contemporary, to vintage, to farmhouse chic.
Laura Ashley's defintive large floral patterns are echoed and evoked throughout this season's product launch. Their fabrics and wallpapes enscapulate the plummy, camomile and truffle colours; gradients of a palette designed to create a distincitively autumn to winter collection.
