Relationship to Open Opportunities for Growth Within UK and Abroad
Leading online train ticket retailer thetrainline.com today announces a new agreement with Sabre Travel Network, a global technology company serving travel agencies and suppliers..
The agreement means that travel agents using the Sabre global distribution system (GDS) can now access thetrainline.com's expert booking system (TOTI) as well as take advantage of a PNR (passenger name record) creation tool to allow booking data to flow back into their own system.
This bespoke system includes additional features such as graphical seat plans, seat preferences, train routing/stopping pattern, a full range of fulfilment options, account drop downs and agent administration.
Integration of thetrainline.com system will also allow consultants to view all bookings made via TOTI thetrainline.com's client facing self booking tool and other online-booking tool partners such as GetThere.
