TAAP Advantage - an enterprise mobile product/service delivery solution - has just been released in 'professional' and 'lite' versions. Advantage can be used across all industries and sectors but it is most well-known for its use in the automotive market for vehicle demo and vehicle movement requests.

Steve Higgon, Product Architect, said "Advantage is in use within the automotive market and the benefits have been leveraged with enterprise integration into sophisticated planning and scheduling systems." Advantage comes with a pre-defined automotive vehicle movement form, which was created using TAAP's market experience within this sector. The technology can be adapted to the most exacting of vehicle checks and is the same technology TAAP provides to all its clients - it was also supplied to the RAC for its inspection services in the UK.

An enterprise variant of TAAP Advantage has been deployed by DHL Inside Track as a tool to support their fleet demo service programme.

Dealers, transport groups, local car rental organisations etc. can use it for vehicle handover requests. It can also be used as an acceptance certificate solution for leasing and finance houses.

Advantage 'lite' and 'professional' versions are designed to augment existing processes and simply replace paper. Other USPs include being able to email pdf files of the completed documentation to clients, and the built-in Vehicle on Route technology (TAAP VORTEX™) which improves customer service.  Whether organisations are delivering an item or making a service visit, this system informs the customer by text message using GPS technology, when the driver of the vehicle is in close proximity to them (i.e. 5 miles, 10 miles for example).
