Rsupport Launches "Mobizen", the World's First Android-Based Smartphone Management Application Using a PC at MWC 2012

BARCELONA, Spain, February 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

Rsupport Co. Ltd., the innovative leader in the remote solutions, has launched "Mobizen" allowing users to see and control their smartphones using a PC at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona.

With Mobizen, users can connect a smartphone to a PC via USB, 3G/LTE, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and easily control all the features with a mouse and keyboard. It supports the back-up and restoration of data, such as contact information, SMS, MMS, music, photo and video files, by safely storing them in PCs regardless of their size or number and users can access them anytime.

Mobizen enhances the user experience and convenience by enabling its diverse features on the same screen as the smartphone through the PC, unlike other, more complex, desktop smartphone applications.

Once connected, users can remotely use and manage all the features of their smartphone through a PC. If the device is on, and connected to a Wi-Fi network, users can change the password or turn off the power through Mobizen, which can be highly useful when the device is lost.

Users can also write and draw on the screen of the smartphone with a mouse, capture and record the screen, and save everything in files to play back without any additional software. This can be useful when showing or sharing them with others in presentations or tutorials via messengers or SNS.

"Mobizen is designed to support mobile users, to overcome the limited size of smartphone screens and utilize the smartphone features through a PC," said Mr. Hyeongsoo Seo, CEO of Rsupport. "In addition to the data backup and restoring features, Mobizen enables users to share captured images and recorded videos and to maximize the excitement of playing mobile games on a bigger PC screen.

Mobizen will be available in the first half of 2012. At MWC2012, Rsupport will demonstrate Mobizen and RemoteCall+ mobile pack, a new remote solution for smartphones.

Powerful Features of Mobizen

  • Once connected, easy control of all the device's features with a mouse and keyboard. Writing emails, sending texts and changing setting has never been easier.
  • Connection to a PC via USB, 3G/LTE, Wi-Fi and even Bluetooth. Battery can be charged while still accessing the device.
  • Drawing on the screen of mobile devices in real-time to show or lead others through presentations or tutorials.
  • Drag and drop files, or even entire folders, instead of removing the card or slowly syncing the device.
  • Easy backup & restoration of the device's configurations as well as all the information to a new device.
  • Record and save from the screen on a PC in AVI or WMV format to create educational videos, or show off how to make it to the next level in a video game.
  • In one click, the device's screen is saved in PNG or JPG format. Capturing not just the screen, but also the mobile device - handy when creating documents related to the device.
  • Alerts from SMS, Facebook, or any other notification always appears on the PC, enabling instant reply.
