DEERFIELD, Florida, March 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
-Â Destined To Be the Hottest New Trend in the Apparel Industry this Year
- Joe Bonamassa Launches "Tribut" by Soci@ble Apparel™
Today, blues rock titan Joe Bonamassa and his longtime manager Roy Weisman launch Soci@ble Apparel™ (http://sociableapparel.com), a new clothing company with an innovative approach to design. The company will roll out with the Tribut (http://tributapparel.com/) apparel line. "The concept of Soci@ble Apparel's Tribut line will be created through people's connectivity," Weisman explains, "Soci@ble Apparel is more than apparel; it's a community of people that share a connection to the entire world through art, music and fashion - the soul of our everyday existence."
More than ever, people are staying connected through social media. Soci@ble Apparel™ brings clothing into the social media realm, creating a community of like-minded individuals who share the love of fashion. The connection made between wearers of sociable clothing will allow people from all over the globe to discuss where and how they are wearing their clothes, and gain inspiration from others who share that same style. Â "It's all about self expression, connecting, community and taking clothing beyond the physical universe of fashion into the virtual universe of social networking," says Bonamassa.
Each apparel item, - hat, shirt, jacket, etc. - will be its own portrait celebrating the love of art, music and fashion. Each item created will have its own QR code, webpage, origin story and downloadable image to be shared online, giving each piece its own identity. Videographies will be made for each item, available on the company's YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/TributApparel) so the buyer can follow the story of when, where and how their apparel was made. Soci@ble Apparel™ drives its wearers to socialize their fashion statement they relate to personally as they post to their profiles on Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, etc. In addition, Soci@ble Apparel™ will offer a weekly newsletter covering its community topics and featuring a new fashion product each week created straight from its community's voice.
Soci@ble Apparel's chief creative guru is Venezuelan-born Manuel Oliver, who joined with a vision to bring life to the notion of Soci@ble Apparel™ for Bonamassa and Weisman. Oliver is a multi-faceted artist working in all mediums with his paintings. He was raised a world traveler. During his time in London, Argentina and Brazil, he embraced the street art and urban lifestyles he experienced along the way. "Since the age of 16, my favorite medium has always been designing my artwork to be worn. I have always looked at a t-shirt as my best canvas," says Oliver. Â "Printing on t-shirts is a perfect way to display art and bring my message to the world. It's like showing my work in a large museum with lots of moving canvases."
Soci@ble Apparel's concept is to never retire a line of apparel after its season has passed, rather each line will become a part of an eternal collection, embracing the idea that, as art is created for a lifetime, so is Soci@ble Apparel's fashion which will live on as collectors' pieces in an ongoing gallery, continuously available for purchase.
Soci@ble Apparel™ is taking the lead position in creating a new category of apparel sales for an already mature industry. The new line will be marketed with edgy social networking tactics and will be made available via a direct to consumer strategy for retail. Soci@ble Apparel™ will be utilizing an affiliate program that will be offered to a limited and exclusive group of individuals, each of whom must qualify, by Soci@ble Apparel's standards, as "social," a "connector," or a "trendsetter." Weisman, Bonamassa and Oliver are excited about Soci@ble Apparel™: "This is an apparel company harnessing the power of social networking and the community of like-minded people, making it the first 'people's' apparel company," said Weisman. "Soci@ble Apparel will stand out from all other apparel companies today as a leader of what will be a new, upcoming trend in the industry."
