The Freezone's representatives will explain the major benefits of investing in Dubai, a leading global commercial hub offering a strategic location, advanced infrastructure, business-friendly policies, and world-class services. As one of the UAE's top international trade partners, Germany is a promising partner in key industries ranging from technology and renewable energy to healthcare and tourism.

As UAE maintains a strategic partnership with Germany, the trade between the UAE and Germany stood at 10.7 billion in 2013,[1] reflecting the productive partnership between the nations. There are currently more than 1,000 German companies contributing to the UAE's development efforts and economic growth.

Jamal Bin Marghoob, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications Department, DAFZA, said: "The UAE has benefitted significantly from Germany's transfer of knowledge and tools related to sophisticated technologies and heavy industries. The aim of our ongoing seminars in Germany is to broaden our partnerships even further and explain how German businesses and investments can be better aligned with local and regional growth plans. For our part, DAFZA intends to be a major platform for German firms to establish and secure their presence in the Middle East region."

"DAFZA has been providing an ideal business environment offering various premium incentives to some of the biggest corporate names in Germany, such as Audi VW, Bauer International, Giesecke & Devrient, Man Truck, and Bus Schenker. Our ongoing seminars enable us to highlight this success and encourage more German enterprises to join our thriving community. Beyond Germany, Europe as a whole maintains a strong presence in the Freezone, accounting for the second-largest investor group by region at 30 per cent. We aim to facilitate more dialogue with existing and potential European partners to emphasize the importance of DAFZA as a platform for their regional and international growth," Bin Marghoob added.

DAFZA is hosting seminars in Germany to reveal how the Freezone offers numerous investment incentives such as a unique geographical location, 100 per cent tax exemption, 100 per cent foreign ownership, and zero currency restrictions. It currently serves over 20 diverse industries ranging from Electronics, Telecommunications and Engineering to Aviation, Logistics and Financial Services.
