With the festive season slowly but surely arriving, it's time to go to Douglas, where many Germans return year after year to find the right gifts for their loved ones. In-store checkout will now be faster than ever, as customers can pay easily and safely with their smartphones: Simply by using the Yapital app to scan the QR code from the payment terminal and confirming the purchase amount with one click - Christmas shopping is done in a flash.

Of course, shopping is also about managing personal budgets. Douglas and Yapital make this easy for customers: Douglas by offering great deals and gift ideas for every budget and Yapital by providing a real-time overview of all transactions. In the course of 2015, Douglas customers will also be able to benefit from the first European cross-channel payment solution in the online store - by simply scanning the QR code that appears during online checkout or by entering their Yapital credentials online. Alternatively, customers can also pay by scanning the QR code on the invoice at delivery.
