Paris Retail Week Enters Its 3rd Year Promoting Live Retail for Human, Authentic and Experiential Commerce

Paris Retail Week, the European event dedicated to 360° commerce, will open its doors from 19 to 21 September 2017 at the Paris expo at the Porte de Versailles, Hall 7.3. A unifying event, Paris Retail Week reinforces the synergies between retail and e-commerce to provide an optimal vision of the challenges of tomorrow.

For three days, Paris will be the capital of connected commerce by bringing together 600 participating companies and 30,000 professionals.

Live Retail, the theme for this year's edition, will be at the heart of discussion during plenary conferences and keynote sessions. Live Retail heralds the expansion of authentic, human and experiential commerce, adapted in real-time and based around the brand experience.

The key event of the season will present the solutions, services and products to retail professionals who are searching for innovative service providers in the sectors of:  IT for Commerce, Payment Solutions, Marketing, Data and Customer Relations, Logistics, E-Logistics & Supply Chain and Digitisation of the point of sale.

Paris Retail Week will also host a Start-Up Village highlighting outstanding young French and international companies and their innovations, as well as a village of Consultancy Agencies specialising in issues related to connected commerce.

Two new services will facilitate the pairing of visitors and exhibitors:

  • A free Business Meetings service programmed in advance and open to all visitors for one-to-one meetings with the exhibitors who are most likely to provide them with specific solutions for the advancement of their projects.
  • Speed Networking sessions held twice a day during a 90-minute period in a cosy atmosphere, to interact with a maximum number of solution providers.

As a special highlight, the Paris Retail Awards will reward once again the best innovations in the field of e-commerce and retail at a ceremony taking place on 19 September at 5:00 p.m.

And because retail is present everywhere in Paris, two guided tours will be proposed alongside the event to discover several points of sale selected for their innovative character, new technologies, design options or merchandising solutions implemented.
