Introduction
•The sweptwing DC 10 series 30 aircraft is a long range tri-jet designed for the transportation of passengers and cargo.
•The DC 10 is certified for night flying, instrument flight and for all-weather operation Category III landing capability
•Three General Electric CF6-50, high bypass ratio turbofan engines are used for propulsion.
•On convertible freighters a main cargo door is provided on the left side of the forward fuselage.
