The everyday atmosphere inPicasso’s studio, with his family and friends, is one of the main themesrunning through this new selection of images by the photographer Roberto Oterowhich the MPM will be showing next summer. With these photographs, the Museum,which exhibited the first selection in the summer of 2006, will revealPicasso’s more private, personal sphere, with the aim of giving thevisitor a different look at the man behind the myth.

Just as Pablo Picasso did for thefamous ballet Parade, thechildren taking part in the MPM Summer Workshops will have to use both theirimagination and their hands to design the set and costumes for a special show.
To inspire them, what better thana look at the works by Picasso on display at the
At the workshopitself, which runs from Tuesday to Friday, the young artists will use cardboardboxes, pieces of card, tempera, pompoms, felt, paintbrushes and other materialsto create, individually, masks and costumes and, as a group, the set.
The show will beperformed on the last day of the workshop for an enthusiastic audience offamily members.
